August 22: It is a day to remember victims of religiously motivated violence

August 22 marks the International United Nations Day to commemorate the victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief. On this day, tears well in the eyes of people while remembering their beloved ones who lost their lives because they strongly believed in the freedom of religion or belief, freedom of opinion and expression, and the right to peaceful assembly.

 

Let us "rekindle the flame of faith"

At the Sunday Angelus, May 14, His Holiness Pope Francis says that the Holy Bible provokes change and invites us to conversion, like a fire that warms us with God's love, burning away our selfishness and moving us to share His love with others.

 

It is definitely the love for Lord Jesus that rekindles the flames of faith by eliminating the bleak past so that days to come would by filled with divine blessing and glory.

 

What is referred to as "same-sex marriage" is absolutely not marriage

When the Almighty Lord created humans and gave them free life, certain laws were followed and established which ensure maintaining the happiness of humanity marked by prosperity and progress.

 

Yet, abuse of this divine freedom has led to complications that persistently caused irreversible damage to humanity, wrought havoc, and led to complications that defame human nature and shove it into abysmal depths of sin.

 

August 7, 2014... an indelible date in the modern history of Iraq

August 7, 2014 was a bleak day for the Christian Iraqis. It was a day when the chains of evil broke loose with sinister outcome driving thousands of people out  of their homes--a matter unfamiliar in modern time--as well as causing a loss of life or rather leading to a doomed future. It was a day when evil unleashed its venom on humanity which tarnished the region with endless violence and despair whose prints are evident until this very moment.
