Tourism is one of the factors that breathes life into the extended human family, whereby tourists visiting one country after the other mark a mixture of civilizations, thus enabling them to get a close idea about peoples in various parts of the world and feel acquainted with the idea that people living in other countries have the same concerns, aspirations, and hopes for a better world.
Holy Masses are celebrated on daily bases in churches around the world. During Holy Masses, the faithful take communion which helps them stay in direct communion with the Lord. Actually, the communion helps strengthen and encourage one through walking in the steps of Lord Jesus Christ.

A few days ago, this painting stopped me at the monastery of the priests located at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in southwestern France. Qussous, who passed away last week and was buried in the village of Ader in Karak Governorate. As usual, requiem Masses are held for all the deceased, but Suha’s Mass was not ordinary, as the attendees were emotionally affected amid the tears welling their eye sand weeping. Then the voice of the priest in the church stated, “Brothers and sisters, please let us applaud this pious woman.” Perhaps it is one of the rare moments in which I called, or in which a priest calls for applause at the time of the requiem Mass.
