I had the honor a few days ago to visit the noble city of Jerusalem which is a great dream for millions of people. Of course, this is not the first time that I visit Jerusalem because I pursued my studies at the Latin Patriarchal Seminary of Beit Jala from 1984 to 1995, and since then I go there several times a year.

In a world abounding with sins represented in crimes, lust for power and wealth, and illicit behaviors among others, people wonder about the best method to be followed in order to wash away all sins and ensure a new start of a life filled with divine blessings and saintly approaches in all walks of life.

The 22^nd of March 2023 marked the World Water Day (WWD). It is an annual observance that celebrates this primary need for potable water and raises awareness, while bearing in mind that some two billion people are living without access to safe water.

Speaking during the weekly General Audience on Wednesday March 22, 2023 while observing the WWD, the Pope recalled the words of St. Francis of Assisi’ in his ode to creation, Laudato sì: “Praised be you, my Lord, through Sister Water, who is very useful and humble and precious and chaste.”

Saturday March 25, 2023 marks a key event or rather the most important event in history since the start of life on Earth. It is the time when the Divine power revealed a concrete and an unwavering plan to salvage humanity, as well as to restore sinners to their rightful place, namely the Kingdom of God. It is the day when world was engulfed with mercy awaiting Blessed Mary's unique and nonpareil gift to the world while getting rhapsodic about the birth of a Savior Who would shove the believers onto the path of salvation and direct them to eternal life in the Kingdom of God.

According to the Gregorian (called Western) and Julian (called Eastern) calendars, Christians worldwide mark the 40-day of fasting by imitating Lord Jesus Christ Whom the Holy Bible tells us that He fasted  throughout the day and night  for this period in the wilderness of Jericho.

Our modern history brings about vivid images of long-term disasters that have befallen humanity, wreaked havoc, and produced unimaginable damage that requires very long time to heal. A bird's eye view of the heart-wrenching current world affairs wells eyes with tears and brands the future with bleak impressions which indicate that the current situation is seemingly irreversible.

The 20th of March 2003 marked a day when the history of Iraq was rewritten. It was a day when a massive US-led attack was waged on Iraq and when the Middle East was shaken by an unprecedented war that reshuffled the cards in the region as well as shoved Iraq and its people into a dystopian future.

The Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) in Jordan has held an impressive ceremony of great significance marking its 10th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the launching of abouna websites, whose slogan is "Media for Humanity", and the new formation of the CCSM's Consultation Council.

"And Jesus said to them, 'Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men'.” (Mark 1:17. 17)

One of the noble messages of life is to guide people who go astray in life and help them choose the correct path of forwardness, rectify their mistakes in life, and keep them away from following winding paths through the woods of wrongdoing and sins.
