The entire Holy Bible includes what can be termed as “jewels” that are valid all time with divine reflections and elucidation of the right path of life for those who go astray.

Last Tuesday, groups of participants in the worldwide Web Summit began proceeding towards the main hall at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). I could hear their whispers saying: "The Queen of Jordan, or Queen Rania, will speak now." So, we were waiting for a distinguished address at this summit, which took place for the first time in an Arab country.

Tourism is one of the factors that breathes life into the extended human family, whereby tourists visiting one country after the other mark a mixture of civilizations, thus enabling them to get a close idea about peoples in various parts of the world and feel acquainted with the idea that people living in other countries have the same concerns, aspirations, and hopes for a better world.

Holy Masses are celebrated on daily bases in churches around the world. During Holy Masses, the faithful take communion which helps them stay in direct communion with the Lord. Actually, the communion helps strengthen and encourage one through walking in the steps of Lord Jesus Christ.

It is really painful watching humans queueing up for portions of meager amounts of food in Gaza, specifically in the south, where thousands of people from the north have come in search for a solution to the question starting with “why?”  which is frequently asked by adults and children.

At the invitation of officials of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France and the supervision of the Jordan Tourism Board, I have had the honor to participate, along with the Ms. Samia Nustas, who is responsible for the tourism file at the Jordan embassy in Paris, in the international days of the tourist city of Lourdes, located in southwestern France next to the heavily snow-covered Pyrenees Mountains.

The Vatican Radio, namely the 'Pope's Radio,' was launched on February 12, 1931. It is a day that marked the birth of a radio which beams to the entire world the divine message of love, mercy, harmony, and most of all peace among the peoples of the world, in line with the noble and divine message of the Holy Bible.

A few days ago, this painting stopped me at the monastery of the priests located at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in southwestern France. It represents the reality that occurred in one of the Marian apparitions. Bernadette, a 14-year-old girl, attracts people of all walks of life and backgrounds to go to Massabielle Grotto. Some of them come with passion of faith to the grotto and meditate the beauty that the little girl talks about. Others come out of ordinary, and careless curiosity.

Statistics have indicated that the contribution of the Catholic Church to healthcare services globally is about 25 per cent but in parts of Sub-Saharan African, this rises as high as 40-70 per cent especially in isolated rural areas. The contribution of Irish missionaries to the development and provision of these services throughout Africa is inestimable. It is common for people there to seek Catholic "mission hospitals" because of the reputation they have for the provision of holistic care to patients.

As has been the case every year, the Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) in Jordan has held, a symposium marking “this year’s season of harmony,” titled: “Harmony Among Religions, in the Service of Peace Among Countries.”

 The United Nations has announced unanimously in an unprecedented way, and in response to the Royal desire of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein the launching of the World Interfaith Harmony Week, which is marked every year on the first week of February.
