The future of Middle East Christians: A hot question that seeks an answer

Journalists, reporters, and political analysts specializing in the Middle East affairs have incessantly been writing articles questioning the future of the Middle East Christians  in the wake of the prevailing turbulent situations, chaos, and confusion that has ripped through the region, while wreaking irreversible damage that brings about a bad omen. They have been leaving no stone unturned in looking for acceptable solutions to the bleak situation precipitating in the region.

In our increasingly secularized society, we can all give witness to our Lord Jesus Christ by simply — and serenely — affirming His holy name when it’s irreverently used (John 14:27).

 

“Praised be His name,” I responded, when a Catholic friend misused the name of Jesus during a football game we were watching with others. 

 

He paused and looked at me, and I smiled amiably in response.

 

Life with or without a wife?

Life is a journey that man undertakes while experiencing its ups and downs  hoping to turn bitterness into sweetness and striving to ensure a dignified life. With life being non-monotonous,  efforts are continuously exerted to overcome  all hurdles that stand in the way.

 

Over the years, men have been facing a delicate questions that defines their courses of life with a question arising, namely will the future be flowery when tying the knot or the other way round?

In a fervent and resounding statement, Cardinal Péter Erdö archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest and primate of Hungary, has said at the International Eucharistic Congress that the world is in a “burning need” of the witness of a united Christianity.

 

The term “burning need”, which Cardinal Péter Erdö uses, implies the urgency of attaining such a unity which consequently necessitates speedy measures based on sound grounds that ensure its perpetuity.

Evil practices have been abounding all the time since the early days of life on Earth. Some people who are attracted by the lust for power, fame, and wealth resort sometimes to some practices that they think are safe, yet they unintentionally invite the devil into their lives. 

 

Shedding light on such practices will keep people at bay from the Satanic influences that harm their lives and keep they away from the mercy and love for the Lord.
