It is the third anniversary of the United Nations' launching of the International Day of Human Fraternity in compliance with a request presented by several Arab countries including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

In the wee hours of February 6, 2023 a mammoth earthquake hit southern Turkey and northern Syria which wreaked havoc on the people living in these areas and caused extensive damage to large swathes of lands, leveling an innumerable number of buildings, killing thousands of people under the rubble of the collapsed buildings, and sending hundreds of thousands of people in the open with little hope for a bright future.

Pope Francis has undertaken a unique trip to two African countries suffering from instability and rampant violence at a time when the entire world looks on carelessly, while being embroiled with other global issues and without making any move that would salvage the innocent African people who lose their lives in endless disputes.

Christians worldwide have been fervently praying worldwide for the attainment of Christian unity on 18-25 January, 2023. The theme of the week was “Do good, seek justice”.

It was so big that doctors couldn't anesthesia him, because there was a risk he wouldn't wake up again, so they couldn't even extract for a biopsy.

On the eastern bank of the River Jordan, Pope Benedict XVI stood on May 10, 2009 and laid the foundation stone of the Catholic Church at the Baptism Site.

Two days earlier, during his first meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II and the extended Jordanian family at Amman Airport upon arrival, he said: "I will visit in a few days, the Baptism Site of Lord Jesus Christ at the river that gave its name to this land. I will be happy to bless the first stone of the two churches that will be built on the traditional Baptism Site of the Lord."

Throughout history, since the start of life on Earth, there have been innumerable events relevant to of people who were subjected to attacks either physically, emotionally, verbally and the like. The reactions to such situations have most of the times been reciprocation of evil which involves retaliations by concocting plans to inflict evil on others.
