August 15 marks the 

This was the title chosen by the promising Jordanian youths for their beautiful and outstanding initiative, launched a few months ago, which began to rise to the surface in our noble Jordanian society. This initiative brings together a number of Jordanian university students, particularly those studying media or relevant disciplines, such as artificial intelligence and others. Its basic goal, as the title suggests, is to disseminate the "culture" of media when it is free of hate.

In a message addressed to participants of the 28th General Assembly of the International Federation of Catholic Universities held in Guadalajara, Mexico, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV offered a reflection on the role of Catholic universities in today’s world, urging them to remain rooted in Christ as the source of wisdom and truth.

It has been a source of pride and jubilation to note that Jordan's Latin Patriarchate institution-- that was established as a place of hope and support--namely Our Lady of Peace Center (OLOPC) has been awarded the National Gold Accreditation by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has sent a message to the participants in Pax Christi USA’s annual National Assembly saying, “efforts to promote nonviolence are all the more necessary in a world facing the challenges including war, division, and forced migration."

Tuesday, July 22, 2025, marked the renewal of cooperation and partnership agreement between two leading institutions in Jordan  that provide noble services to the Jordanian society, namely the Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) and the American Unversity of Madaba (AUM). This agreement is designed to enhance efforts aimed at expanding media and cultural cooperation among local and international institutions, as well as to bolster joint action among institutions operating under the umbrella of the Latin Patriarchate.

Amidst the successive and dramatic developments taking place in the Middle East, so many questions are raised with extreme concern and worry about the future that awaits the Christians of the Middle East. Press reports indicate that the Christian presence has been repeatedly dwindling to worrying levels with fears that the churches would one day be bereft of the living stones, or rather the faithful who raise their hands in supplication seeking the Almighty Lord's mercy and protection.

On July 10, 2025 a delegation from the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), representing the Executive Committee, left for the Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand in northern Lebanon, to convey condolences to His Beatitude Patriarch John Yazigi, Patriarch of the Antioch and All the East of the Greek Orthodox, marking the martyrdom of church members following the bloody and the terrorist bombing that took place at Mar Elias Church in Douweila, Damascus.

July is the month that marks the greatest ever anniversary in the world. It is the precious Blood of Lord Jesus Christ.
