"Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect example" to be emulated

"Do not let the urgent take the place of the important in your life,” a strong statement that I read and was impressed by. Life to some is a maze and the directions are uncertain, while they should be clear, and aims should be obvious.

‘UOLO’, is something the young people repeat regularly nowadays ‘You only live once’, but do they really know how to live it right? Do you? The answer, to those of us who are clueless, is in setting our priorities right.

People start thinking of setting their 2016 aims, resolutions, and aspirations, but in truth one should take a daily step rather than an annual leap; setting priority on a daily basis leads to success and stability at the personal level, which, in return, reflects positively on the person’s attitude and on those around them, whether at home or work. In addition, it helps the person stand out among the ‘go with the flow’ crowd.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect example. We read in the Bible that the first thing Jesus Christ does on a daily basis is to spend time praying in the morning. Making time for praying and reading the word of God, I believe, should be our daily and number one priority.

Another fresh thought to start the day is to decide to live every day while being true to yourself, not live the life others expect you to. In other words: You should be able to direct your own path the way you want to, and worry about the benefit of your life rather than the mistakes of others. Remember, there is authority in the truth of your words, thus one should be authentic, and live life to its full; smile broadly when you have the chance, laugh from your heart, always tell the truth, and know that it is normal to make mistakes and apologies, or to fail and start up again, or to be weak and admit it, or to simply not know the full truth and enjoy little ignorance. Most importantly, be always positive.

And only then you can start organizing your daily tasks, and listing the things you need to accomplish, always remembering to hold a tight grip on your priorities.
