The Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has denounced the heinous crime, which took place on June 30, and led to the martyrdom of Fr. Rafael Moussa, priest of Al Arish in Egypt.

While the CCSM considers the late priest, Fr.Rafael Moussa, a martyr in defence of faith, justice, homeland and humanity, it joins the Catholic Church in the Kingdom in viewing this cowardly terrorist act as merely serving extremism, fanaticism and terrorism which strikes in a number of areas in the world.

The CCSM has conveyed--on behalf of the Catholic Church--heartfelt condolences to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, to the fraternal Coptic Orthodox Church, and to all the Christians in dear Egypt. It, furthermore, conveyed condolences to the Muslims in Egypt who are hurt by the misuse of religion which leads to the dissemination of terror and sedition, as well as to enhancing hatred in the Egyptian society at a time when it aspires to attain further progress, justice social, security and stability.

The CCSM also sincerely prays to have humanity further united in the fight against terrorism and extremism, as well as in confronting all those who espouse bigotry, discord and fighting the believers.
