I believe that people today need a role model to encourage and influence their lives positively, thus they are advised to choose theirs wisely. A correct role model will change your life, inspire, and give self-confidence. I chose our Lord and savior Jesus Christ as my personal role model in the past five years, an issue that involved reading Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John over and over, pondering on Lord Jesus Christ’s words, they way He reacted to situations, and His style of thinking. I realized that Lord Jesus Christ never taught his disciples to preach, but he told them how to pray: The Lord’s Prayer. I contemplated on the depth of this powerful prayer, on each phrase and word as keys to rightfully communicate with God. It’s a personal discovery that I wish to share with you.
Our Father thou art in Heaven: Please Lord hear me out and respond to my prayers. Don’t let go of me.
Hallowed be thy name: Because you are a mighty God, a great loving father, close to me and capable; You are yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Thy kingdom come: Let your will, God, be on me, my personal and professional life. I know that Your will for me is to always be happy, thus I accept everything you give me on daily bases knowing that "every good and perfect gift" comes from you.
Thine will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven: So every word in the scripture, inspired by You, dear God, the creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is in it, happen.
Give us this day our daily bread: Give me, my family, and all who I know Your blessings that You have for us since the beginning of creation, we accept it all, thanking You.
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us: Forgive my sins, in thinking, deeds and words, and give me the ability to forgive myslef and others, and the capability to forget all pains of the past.
Lead us not into temptation: Not beyond our capabilities, stay with me and lead me to the right path, and give me patience to endure.
But deliver us form the evil: Shield me, my family and everyone I know from every evil, cover us under your protection, and keep Your angels around us.
For thine is the Kingdom, the power, the glory, forever: Because You are mighty, capable, and God of love and peace.
