The Holy Bible is one of the oldest and most popular books of all the time.  This Holy Book is not like any other book.  It is God’s Word...  a perfect book that has never been ever corrupted. This book shows us God's character and provides us God's revelation of Himself to His people. In every chapter of the Bible one can see God's holy, unchanging, faithful, gracious and loving character.

Press reports have emerged indicating that efforts to translate the Bible into more languages across the world are accelerating. The Holy Bible is already translated  into 717  languages accounting for almost 10 per cent of the number of languages spoken in the world, marking an increase of 13 languages in 2020.

Millions of people are full of joy because for the first time in history they've been able to hear what lord Jesus  is saying to them in their own language, and read for themselves and see for themselves the things taken for granted.

Actually 1.5 billion people worldwide still do not have access to the Holy Bible in their languages, namely 1 in 5 people do not have the same access to the Bible which we take for granted. To rectify this injustice, translation teams worldwide are working with urgency.

The word of God does not change. This is evident in these two verses:

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." (Matthew 24:35)

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

It is important to read the Holy Bible because it reveals God's love for people. It furthermore, enlightens us about how to be free from sins, helps us to be merciful, and shows us the path leading to salvation.

Reading the Bible and abiding by the Lord Jesus' divine teachings  frees  humanity from the prevailing violence, lust for power and money, wars  and all kinds of deeds that violate the will of God.

With further translations  of the Holy Bible are conducted into foreign  languages, further  bases of  human fraternity , peace, and cooperation will be set leading to harmonious societies that flourish while glorifying the Almighty God whose mercy is infinite.
